Over 300 food and beverage exhibitors comprising of food processors, suppliers, manufacturers, exporters and industry players graced the 3-day event organized by the Philippine Food Expo last April 12 - 14, 2024 at the World Trade Center, Manila. The 3-day event paved the way for business matchings, sales, brand awareness and much more! There were also live cooking shows and workshops and competitions, product demos, special events, and shop-til-you-drop items at discounted prices.

Sunnyware Philippines, one of the exhibitors, showcased its best selling plasticwares by offering Buy 1, Take 1 for all its products in the event! Among Sunnyware Philippines' best-sellers were the EZI Series Food Savers (Stock No. 727, 3 liters EZI Food Saver, Stock No. 728, 1.8 liters Food Saver and Stock No. 725, 4 liters EZI Food Saver), Buffet Catering Tray Big (Stock. 714-B, 9.5 liters), Klip Top Canisters (Stock No. 334, 1.5 liters, Stock No. 335, 2.5 liters, Stock No. 336, 3 liters), and many more! Customers were in for a treat as they bought 1 item and got another one, free! It has made the event worth the visit.
It has been twice in a row already that Sunnyware Philippines joined the biggest food and beverages expo this 2024. The Manila Foods and Beverages Expo, or simply known as Mafbex is on its 18th year with the theme "Eat's Here!" The 5-day event were filled with food, fun, free samples, business matchings, live cooking shows and workshops and competitions, shop-til-you-drop items at discounted prices, culinary brands, and yes, more, and more food!

And did we just mentioned discounted prices? Sunnyware Philippines' Buy 1, Take 1 tops it all! Many happy shoppers came back repeatedly to avail the Buy 1 Take 1 offer. Sunnyware Philippines also launched the new Sunnyware 6-seater (Stock No. 871, Rectangle Table-Mesa ng Bayan) and 4-seater tables (Stock No. 870, Square Table-Mesa ng Bayan). The Sunnyware tables come in brown, gray and mocha colors and were a hit among the shoppers during the expo. The colors and classy design made the tables a sold out in the event. Indeed, the "mesa ng bayan" description fits the Sunnyware tables well.
Sunnyware Philippines' Mother's Day Giveaway Online Contest
Coinciding with Mafbex, winners of Sunnyware Philippines' Mother's Day Giveaway Online Contest were in for a special treat. Two winners won 1,500pesos worth of gift certificates each, and was redeemed at Sunnyware Philippines' booth. The winners and their families had fun choosing Sunnyware plasticwares and went home with loads of goodies. Mafbex 2024 took place at the World Trade Center, Manila last June 12 - 16, 2024.

Bacolodnons are very proud of their chicken inasal. Chicken inasal which had its origins in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, is chicken marinated in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and spices, and grilled to perfection. It has always been the prized cuisine of Bacolod City, so much so that the Bacolod City Government Council made the dish an official annual festival. Crowds packed the North Capitol Road, Megaworld's The Upper East, and Manokan Country at Ferrero Street from May 24 to May 26, 2024. Competitions for the best tasting chicken inasal were held and presented in creative, innovative ways for the local and global palates. There were also food expos and workshops, parties, outdoor performances and competitions of dances and singing. It was a festive atmosphere from start to finish.
Sunnyware Philippines Participates in the Bacolod Chicken Inasal Cook-Off
Sunnyware Philippines joined the festival's Barangay Chicken Inasal Cook-Off last May 25, 2024 at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Fiesta Market. Ten barangays competed against each other to create and present the best chicken inasal with a global twist. Each of the 10 barangays was given in advance Sunnyware plasticwares to marinate their chicken inasal as part of the competition. The chicken inasals were marinated in the 9L Go Fresh Food Container (Stock No. 511), 7.5L Fridge Grid Food Keeper (Stock No. 825), and 3.6L Fridge Grid Food Keeper (Stock No. 824). It was an afternoon of celebrating chicken inasal and more! Topping it off, 3 pieces of 9.5L Buffet Catering Tray (Stock No. 714-B) were given to the top 3 winners during the awarding of prizes.

Sunnyware Philippines and some of its employees joined in the Tzu Chi's Charity Run for Education held in the grounds of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City last July 21, 2024. Present were 6,000 runners in the 1K, 3K, 5K and 10K categories. Proceeds from the run-for-a-cause will go to Tzu Chi's Educational Assistance Program. Since 1995, the program provided scholarships and allowances to youths in unfavorable conditions.
Runners in the 1k, 3k, 5k and 10k categories were given T-shirts and singlets. These singlets were made of polyethylene terephthalate, or PET taken from single-use plastic bottles. Reusable, collapsible cups made from wheat straw were also given. Moreover, runners were also encouraged to bring their own cups or reusable water bottles to reduce wastes around UP grounds.
Sunnyware Philippines' New Tumbler as Freebies to Runners of Tzu Chi's Charity Run for Education
In relation to this, Sunnyware Philippines, in partnership with JG Summit Olefins Corporation, launched the new, Sippin' Fresh Tumblers (Stock No. 982-M 650ml) in the Tzu Chi's Charity Run. A UL Label can be seen attached to each Sunnyware tumbler. This label assures consumers that each Sunnyware tumbler complied with stringent safety guidelines and specifications of Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
Only limited number of Sunnyware's Sippin' Fresh Tumblers were given away. Runners who finished the race lined up at the Sunnyware Philippines' booth and were able to avail the Sippin' Fresh Tumblers FREE!

It was a much awaited event for schools Antonio Uy Tan Highschool, Acacia Elementary School, Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education and Urduja Elementary School for Sunnyware Philippines' Preparing a Healthy Baon event during the schools' Brigada Eskwela 2024.
Brigada Eskwela is an annual, nationwide, school event that is deeply rooted in the "bayanihan" spirit of the Filipinos. The Department of Education program mobilizes both private and public sectors for volunteerism and sharing of resources for the betterment of public schools.
As a response to this, Sunnyware Philippines joined these schools in their Brigada Eskwela 2024 by bringing the Preparing a Healthy Baon event. At the same time, the event's theme also coincided with the Philippines' Nutrition Month, July. The continuous rise of food costs makes the Sunnyware Philippines' Preparing a Healthy Baon a timely event, and showcases budget-friendly, nutritious food in eco-friendly, sustainable Sunnyware bento boxes and food keepers.
Sunnyware Philippines Teaches Parents How to Prepare a Healthy Baon for their School Aged Children
A Chef was invited to prepare lunch and snack ideas for the parents and guardians present in the event. From mouth-watering vegetable omelettes to fried chicken strips to sandwiches and fruits, Chef Arianne demonstrated ways on budget-friendly but nutrient-packed meals placed inside Sunnyware Philippines' reusable, microwaveable, freezer safe, dishwasher safe, BPA free, recyclable bento boxes and food keepers. The parents and guardians of school aged children were taught easy food preparations placed in Sunnyware's bento boxes and food keepers, and were asked to do food tasting. Many volunteered to do food tasting and were surprised at the delicious delicacies.
Moreover, additional Sunnyware bento boxes and food keepers packed with rice meals, sandwiches and fruits were raffled off, much to everyone's delight and enjoyment.
JG Summit Olefins Corporation and Manila Absolute Lions Club as co-sponsors of the Preparing a Healthy Baon Event
Aside from that, Sunnyware Philippines invited JG Summit Olefins Corporation and Manila Absolute Lions Club. JG Summit Olefins Corporation gave a short talk on eco-friendly and sustainable plasticwares. JG Summit Olefins Corporation is Sunnyware Philippines' long-time partner of raw materials in the production of plasticwares.
Manila Absolute Lions Club also prepared hundreds of lugaw (rice porridge) and lumpiang shanghai to feed the crowd. The parents, guardians, teachers and students were blessed by their generosity.
Sunnyware Philippines' School Donations and Giveaways
Furthermore, donations were given to each school- 5 pieces of 80 liters Waste Cans (Stock No. 130) and 6 pieces of 45 liters Storage Bins (Stock No. 805) which can help the schools' efforts in maintaining cleanliness and order. The schools acknowledged and thanked Sunnyware Philippines for these contributions.
By the end of the program, parents, guardians, and teachers were also given 1 piece Bento Box, 3 Divisions w/ Spoon & Fork (Stock No. 510) and 1 piece 650ml Sippin' Fresh Tumbler (Stock No. 982-M) Each has his own Sunnyware bento box and tumbler as a giveaway from this momentous event.
Typhoon Carina and Sunnyware Philippines' Preparing a Healthy Baon event
Due to the onslaught of Typhoon Carina last July 24, 2024, Brigada Eskwela was postponed that week. There were constant, heavy rains and floodings in the metro. Still, Sunnyware Philippines' Preparing a Healthy Baon event was continued the following week, and with much success.
Kicking off Sunnyware's activities in Bulacan's Singkaban Festival 2024 was the Opening Motorcade Ceremony held on the historic grounds of Malolos, Bulacan.
The Opening Motorcade Ceremony started in Malolos' Basilica Cathedral for the assembly. Then traversed through Paseo del Congreso, and went out to Malolos Crossing, McArthur Highway going to the Provincial Capitol Building.
The Opening Motorcade assembled at 2pm last Sept 9, 2024, Monday. The 12 competing groups of the Marching Band Competition graced the first line. It was followed by the Float Parade contestants represented by 15 Local Government Units (LGUs). The last in the line, were another set of Float Paraders composed of 11 sponsors or private groups. Each Float got the chance to be individually introduced to the crowd in front of the Provincial Capitol Building.

The Sunnyware booth was located in the Capitol Mini Forest where we gave out fan (#M-002) as giveaways, and raffled off 2 new 6-seater tables "Mesa ng Bayan" (#871). Our excited winners were Mr. Carlo Galvez and Mrs. Cecil de Leon, both from Malolos, Bulacan.

The highlight of the event was the Hari At Reyna ng Singkaban 2024 Grand Coronation Night last Sept. 13, 2024 where we selected our very own Mr. and Ms. Sunnyware Philippines 2024. The coveted titles were won by Hari ng Marilao - Randanniel Marilag for the Mr. Sunnyware Philippines 2024, and Reyna ng San Rafael - Janella Marie Ventura for Ms. Sunnyware Philippines 2024 respectively.
The latest 6-seater tables "Mesa ng Bayan" (#871) were given to Mr. and Ms. Sunnyware Philippines 2024 as major prizes. For the pageant's runners up, Stock Boxes (#868) were given as consolation prizes.
Sunnyware Philippines joined the Masskara Festival 2024 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental last October 11-27, 2024. The 3 weeks long festivity was marked by several competitions and activities. One of them is the Masskanamit Culinary Showdown.

Showing the region's culinary prowress, the Masskanamit Culinary Showdown cooked up their region's best in SM City Bacolod's SMX Convention Center last Oct 15-17, 2024.
Hotel and Restaurant Association of Negros Occidental (HRANO) organized a whole day seminar for culinary students from different campuses. The region's finest chefs and some Manila-based chefs were invited to give inspiring talks.

Sunnyware's newly launched Urban Gourmet Food Keepers (#851) were raffled off and also given in advance to students and home cook contestants for early marination of their chicken inasal, and pork among others.
The National Food Showdown and Sabor Bisaya competitions also featured chefs and home cooks who showcased traditional dishes and innovative creations using Urban Gourmet Food Keepers (#851) as one of their cooking partners.
Sunnyware Philippines partnered with the Tzu Chi Foundation's Fiesta Verde 2024 donation drive. Proceeds will benefit Tzu Chi's four missions of charity, medicine, education, and humanistic culture.
The 2 days event featured Lifestyle and Housewares, Health and Wellness, Groceries and Dry Goods, Holiday Gifts and Pre-loved and Upcycled Items in the Jing-Si Auditorium. Food stalls were located at the Plaza and Harmony Hall. All inside the Tzu Chi Campus, Sta. Mesa, Manila.

The World Bazaar Festival held from December 13 to December 22, 2024, was a shopping extravaganza with estimated 500 booths offering a wide variety of products from fashion and beauty to food and home. The event was truly a feast for the senses, as shoppers enjoyed the festive atmosphere while discovering new items, bargains, discounts, and more for the holiday season.
Sunnyware Philippines introduced two new exciting product lines that quickly gained popularity: the Air Canister Series and the Urban Gourmet Set.
